¿Kari Jobe y otros cristianos porque tenían una X roja en la mano en esta semana? Aquí el motivo

Toda esta semana muchas personalidades cristianas han estado con una “X” roja pintada en su mano, el hecho se ha convertido en motivo de curiosidad para quienes los ven ya sea en persona o por redes sociales, la causa es muy sencilla.

La X roja pertenece a un movimiento “END IT Movement” (Movimiento TERMINALO), el cual trabaja como una iniciativa del 2013 que buscar eliminar la esclavitud moderna en niños, mujeres y hombres en la trata de personas; diferentes personalidades cristianas se han sumado a esta causa.

Uno de ellos es el CEO principal de International Justice Mission, Gary Haugen, quien llevaba un pin rojo durante el desayuno con el presidente Trump explicando el motivo de su prenda el mismo mandatario lo elogió por su causa, “Ustedes realmente están haciendo la obra del Señor. Rescatar a las personas de la esclavitud de la trata de personas”.

“Y como saben, nuestra administración está haciendo todo lo posible para facilitar su trabajo …  Juntos, terminaremos con el flagelo de la esclavitud moderna”, añadió Trump.

Ese movimiento fue recordado con fuerza este jueves por muchos políticos, pastores, artistas y lideres cristianos, como el gobernador de Atlanta Biran Kemp, donde compartió un video donde se muestra los arrestos por tráfico de personas después del Super Bowl, “Aplaudimos a los funcionarios federales por arrestar a 169 traficantes de personas y liberar a 18 víctimas aquí en Atlanta durante el fin de semana del Super Bowl, pero nuestro trabajo debe continuar”, escribió el Gobernador“. 

Pastores de iglesias, cantantes cristianos como Kari Jobe y escritores cristianos como Levi Lusko, también hicieron lo propio al que personalidades de la industria de Hollywood como las actrices Anna Sophia Robb y Kristen Bell, quienes han pintado en sus manos X rojas en modo de protesta.

“Dibujar una RED X en tu mano puede parecer simple al principio, pero te sorprenderán las conversaciones que provoca con todos, desde tu jefe hasta tu barista; conversaciones que educan e inspiran a la gente en tus círculos uno por uno. Después de todo, la acción comienza con la conciencia”, dice la página del movimiento.

It generates a profit of $32 billion every year. Of that number, $15.5 billion is made in industrialized countries. This is why I support the #enditmovement.
